A year after we got Buck…. My daughter Kirra wanted her own pony so we went to Sonoma, against the advice of my doctor – (I had just had surgery a week before!) to see a cute little guy, Cottonwood Cash…my girls were sold from the minute they saw him, it was love at first sight… He was different than Buck… a quiet calm understanding about him. When my daughter got on he knew she was 11 and when I got he knew I was 37. He packs her around like a well-trained trail horse and has been her “bestie”, as she calls him, from day one. He can go from a week in the pasture to riding on the trail bareback in a halter and is honest to a fault… “You want me to swim in that river… ok let’s go….”
Thank you Karin and Neighsavers for allowing my family to be a part of yours. I will always cherish these amazing animals and treat them like the Kings they are.
