Midge is an adorable 14 hh mutt. We aren’t quite sure what she is, but suspect that she is a Cobb Pony or Draft X. She is broad and thick, but not particularly tall. Midge was rescued from Mike’s Auction December 2015.
When we received Midge, her teeth were in poor condition and her feet were atrocious. We have slowly been trimming her feet and reshaping them. It was obvious that they had not been done in quite some time.
We have learned that Midge is broke to ride and is quite a fun little pony. She is a smart girl who just needs a little bit of education to make her a nicely finished horse. We have had to go slow with her as it is clear that her feet will need some time to get comfortable. Stay tuned, because this girl is going to be quite the riding pony.
