Caramel has arrived at the Sanctuary (April 2025). After a four month rehab she will be available for adoption.
Caramel is our Ambassador Appy. At 7 years old, her spots are really starting to come in. Caramel adores people and just wants to be close & snuggle. Our Board Director Caroline Holmes, rescued her from a hoarder situation at 3 years old. She had never been outside of a small enclosure built for a goat. Caramel has had a lot of training over the years & comes with a just few workable issues due to her past situation.

We are pleased to announce that our Appy, the 8 yo mare Caramel has been adopted locally to Melinda & Jerry!
Caramel joins the family’s mule & Melinda hopes to trail ride with her new friend in future.
