Description: Blaze came to Neigh Savers after being rescued from auction in June 2014. Blaze is a well put together horse with good bone. He is an affable gelding who is comfortable and confident with his surroundings and is affectionate to handle. Blaze shows excellent movement.
July 2015 Update: Blaze is doing extremely well in his retraining program. This is an incredibly docile, mild-mannenered, and gentle guy. You couldn’t ask for a safer and kinder horse to be around. Blaze is quiet under saddle and is walk, trotting, and cantering around the ring and trotting small jumps. Despite having much to learn, this boy does everything with a can-do attitude and will do anything you ask of him. This is a special guy who is ready for a very lucky person.
August 2015 Update: A big congratulations to Tessa A. who has just adopted Blaze. Tessa has been working at Foxfield Riding School for the summer and fell in love with Blaze who was there on a trial. Blaze has been with Neigh Savers for over a year and has been looking for his life partner ever since being rescued at auction from an extremely at risk situation as Charros were bidding on him. This kind and sweet tempered boy will be living on the family ranch and Tessa has plans for the two of them to develop together and begin showing in equitation among other disciplines. Blaze has entered his first horse show and earned a First and two Second place ribbons.
