Description: Laddie is a large, regal looking almost black gelding by the late great Rockport Harbor. He had a distinguished career and is true war horse, having raced to the age of 10 with 81 starts and still sound. He was only retired because his trainer felt it was time and she wanted him to go off track sound so he could enjoy another career.
Laddie has a great mind and disposition. His pedigree boasts Caro (IRE) who is known as one of the greatest sport horses of all time. Laddie could go in many directions or he could just be a good companion and trail horse.
Update December 2021: Laddie is in fine form and has an interested adopter who will move him to the same facility in Petaluma where Lyle is at for professional training in late December if all goes as planned. Fingers & hooves crossed as Laddie would have an excellent home & situation and primarily be ridden on trail.
