Pippi

Pippi

Pippi is a three year old filly out of Tamara by Three Points.

This little redhead has been finally treated to a day of pampering. Teeth, vaccines, and some sweet nothings whispered into her ear. Pippi has some sass! she is spunky and fun. Still growing, she stands around 15.1 hh. Pippi is one fantastic mover. Looking for a small hunter? She is your girl.

This horse is a part of the December 23, 2014 rescue.

February 2016 Update: We are pleased to announce that longtime supporter and previous adopter, Amy C. has adopted Pippi. Amy contacted us just as soon as she heard about the plight of the Lancaster 19 horses. Amy is an incredibly experienced horse person. She and her husband, horses, and dog live outside of Salt Lake City, Utah. When the weather turns cold and bitter, Amy seeks refuge in Arizona or Nevada. Amy has the time and ability to put serious training and time into a horse. She knew we were inundated with horses and offered to take a couple of horses to further their training and make room for a new horse. This is exactly what she did. Amy adopted Ella, Pippi, and Onyx Be Good. She is currently in Mesquite, NV, where she is working with a trainer developing each of these horses.

Amy reports:
Pippi is a doll.  She is so smart and super fun to work with on the ground.  I’m almost done with everything and ready to start riding her again in about a week or so.  She loves her grooming and she loves to stand and cuddle up to you when her training is done.  She is a beauty too!  I keep getting asked how old she is and what her breeding is.  Do you have records for this?  She will just do pretty much a happy little passage on the end of the lunge line.  She is totally relaxed and I’m not asking her for it – she just has that suspension and offers it completely on her own.  It seems to be as effortless as walking for her.
Thank you Amy for being such a tremendous supporter of our program and champion of our horses. We look forward to seeing how these horses evolve.
