Shades of Hope raced 30 times. His last race was in 2011. He spent a few years on the hunter-jumper circuit before being retired.
Shadow is by the great sire Point Given out of the mare Silver Spirit. Other notable pedigrees include Silver Buck, Thunder Gulch, Gulch, Buckpasser & Mr. Prospector.
