Cy is a 29 yo roan Quarter horse gelding. He was a dedicated ranch horse & a hard worker. About 7 or 8 years ago he suffered a tendon injury & was sent to rehab at our now former NS facility in Clements.
When it was deemed that his injury was career ending his owner wanted Cy euthanized. Ann wouldn’t do it & put him on her tab. When we inherited the Sanctuary she asked if Cy could eventually come & live there. He finally arrived July 2025.
According to Ann, Cy is the easiest horse she’s ever had. He gets along with everyone & is quiet & very low maintenance.
