Description: Impregnable came to us with a sesamoid injury. He had a reaction to the gel cast that was initially placed on his leg and caused his skin to break down. It has taken almost 6 months for his skin to heal. We have taken him into our program to provide for him first class rehabilitation at Los Laureles Equine Training and Therapy Center. Imp My Ride has just begun his rehab journey with the various modalities available to him. Imp My Ride is a friendly gelding who stops people in their tracks because he is so handsome. He is such a ham that he actually stops, looks around and then poses for all to look and admire him.
November 2014 Update: Imp has done remarkably well in his rehab. He has been cleared to go back to work and is suitable as a pleasure riding horse. Imp’s personality really blossomed at Los Laureles. He was one of the intern favorites. He loves his people and bonds quickly. He also enjoys the finer things that life has to offer- long walks grazing, lots of carrots, and bubble baths. He has been started back under saddle and it is clear that he is truly a special guy looking for his soulmate.
April 2015 Update: Imp has graduated from rehab and is going under saddle. He is enjoyable under saddle and is ready for his new person. Many thanks to the team at NexStar for getting Imp ready to move on to his forever home.
June 2015 Update: Imp has hit the jackpot. We are pleased to share that Imp is in the loving care of Carol G. Imp has found his forever home trail riding through the Santa Ynez as Carol’s companion. When not being ridden, Imp is busy playing with his mini horse friends and galloping across his grass pastures. Happy trails!
