Description: Very personable, extremely sweet, excellent ground manners, easy to be around. Not spooky or reactive. No vices have been noted. Susie gets along with both mares and geldings. She is dominant for food though. Susie has been an easy keeper and is currently barefoot.
Her reason for retirement from the track was that she kept coming up sore in her knees. Although she was radiographed and also received ultrasound, the exact issue was never pinpointed. She was retired so that she could go on to a second career and not risk injury at the track that would have possibly rendered her unsound or unusable.
