Description: Gunner is a bold and curious guy with lots of personality. He was track trained, but never raced. He has been started as a 3-day event prospect, but we discovered that he has a mild SI abnormality which limits his jumping ability. Gunner would do best in a non-show home as a light riding horse. He is currently sound and comfortable and only needs regular exercise to remain that way. However, he still needs some work to build his confidence under saddle at the canter since his prior experiences at the track and jumping have led him to anticipate pain. He is happiest living in a paddock or pasture with lots of room to move around. I would not recommend Gunner as a horse for a beginner as he can be pushy, but is not a difficult horse to handle for someone with experience. He is generally very easy going and not spooky.
