Premier Diablo (Freckles) was foaled in 2003. He had 50 starts and earned over 100,000K at the track. He also raced until he was 8 years old and was in the barn of Washington trainer Frank Lucarelli. Frank is known for taking very good care of his horses. Frank does not believe in injecting horses and when the time comes that injections could be beneficial he does retire them to good homes or donates them to after care organizations. Although Freckles raced mostly in claiming company his one and only claim to fame came when he was entered in the Emerald Downs Breeders’ Cup Derby. Unfortunately he did place 12th. Freckles is a refined and classy older gentleman now. He absolutely adores his new person David and follows him around like a dog without being haltered or on a lead rope. David and Freckles spend a lot of time together riding the beautiful trails around Bear Creek Stables.
