Description: Looking for an excellent dressage prospect on a budget? Look no further! Joss is looking for the right person to give him his best shot at a fabulous dressage career (and boy will he take you far if you give him a chance). Joss is a GORGEOUS mover with a ton of presence (no one that meets him will forget him). He needs a capable handler and someone that is comfortable training and working with sensitive and smart OTTBs. Joss is a naturally uphill mover (one of the nicest moving TBs we’ve ever seen!) and goes with good forward energy and active gaits. He recently got high compliments from a well known dressage judge and clinician in CA for his presence, good looks and natural ability. Joss needs someone that will look past his greenness to see the talent within. He’s a very curious, brave, likes people and is generally not spooky. He’s had some time on the trail and lots of time riding western as well.
Joss needs a person that will not jump him for his long term soundness due to a track injury. He is sound on the ankle and has not been lame a step on it since he joined the program. He should not have any dressage or flat limitations. He is otherwise wear and tear free with his very short time on the track as a racehorse.
