Description: This big brown beauty came to us after a year of vacation. She has accepted the fact that her vacation is over and her new job of learning has started to be a riding horse. She is very smart with a good mind. You show her something once, and she remembers the next time you work with her. Her curiosity and sense of humor delights. She has played in large puddles and walked right up to cows with no fear. Have something in your pocket while you bend over to pick her feet? She can remove it with such nimble accuracy it would impress the best pickpocket. She is friendly and affectionate with all, very people oriented. Sky has even tried to play with her barn manager’s dog.

Her team is in awe of her athleticism. Responsiveness to lunging and transitions are coming along nicely. Her trot is balanced, smooth and simply wonderful to watch. We can’t wait to see what she does when started back under saddle! She makes improvements everyday! Please stay tuned for updates on Flyer.

Update- December 2014:

Sky is one lucky girl! She has been adopted by Arin I. in Ashland, OR. Sky is residing on 25 acres of grass, has her best bud, also a Neigh Savers’ adoptee, to keep her company. She is enjoying the trails of Oregon and is being trained in dressage. Lynn reports, “Arin gave her boyfriend a lesson on her and today we rode the horses all over the place, over bridges, through water, past barking dogs, and through a graveyard full of spinning reflective things. This mare is a champ!” We always knew this mare was special. We look forward to seeing what Arin and Sky accomplish together.
