Robert the Great

This six year old gelding is by the great Cee's Tizzy who also sired two time horse of the year Tiznow.  Although Bob never had much heart for racing he exudes class on every level.  He has been retrained as a western riding horse as well as beginner level dressage.

Kim and her daughters Tracy and Britney have each adopted a NS horse.  Tracy took the former Nuevo Emigrant (now named Big Joe or Joe) and Britney recently adopted Clever Captain now renamed Captain Jack or just The Captain).  As  Britney was getting to know Clever Captain Kim saw this huge white horse standing in his stall and decided why not make it threesome and that's how they got the Three Amigos.

All the girls and Mom Kim took turns riding Robert about the arena and Britney also hopes to show him and do some dressage with him in between barrel racing and search and rescue and parade riding with her own horse.  Wow--these ladies are going to be very busy indeed!  To see just how versatile Bob could be we even took a rope out and twirled it about to see how he would react to that and it was very favorable.  Pictured here are some photos of Bob and Kim and also of the "Three Amigos" co-existing peacefully after just one day after arriving at their rural Northern California home.

Kim and her husband's family has grown rice for many years and they live on the family farm.  A 12 stall barn had been largely empty except for various chickens, goats, sheep and storage and whoever and whatever else decided to house there.  The girls are totally revamping the barn and cleaning it up for their three prized equine buddies now.  As a true Neigh Saver I would say there might be room for 9 more rescues!
