Brishane (Click here for Past Performances)
Brishane is a big, happy boy with a comedic flair. He loves to greet his visitors with tongue hanging askew and also likes to flap said tongue at his neighbors and stall wall. He is full of funny faces does a variety of little tricks. Unfortunately, his career options are limited as he is saddled with an old ugly bow that although is not fresh looks like it might not get any better. He was walking very crookedly when we got him but since his chiropractic adjustments is much smoother. He is also in line for corrective shoeing. We now call him “Mac” and he would make a wonderful equine companion, therapy horse, children’s horse for light riding or a candidate for a therapeutic riding program. Mac is a 9 year old gelding who had an enviable track record at Los Alamitos before his injury. He has not raced for almost 2 years although the Red gelding had 43 starts and earned over a 100k.
We would like to thank and acknowledge owner Mr. David Cook, of DC Corp, for sending Mac to us with a generous
donation. It is very rare that our horses come with anything and Mr. Cook also provided for Mac's transportation costs
to the Neigh Savers foster facility.
Mac is being considered for a children's therapy riding school and is residing in Grass Valley, CA.
