This giant 8 year old and almost 18 h/h gelding is by Slewdledo and boasts as his grandfather the great Triple Crown Winner Seattle Slew.
Dooie broke his maiden on his first attempt at Golden Gate Fields. He then raced another 18 times before hanging up his racing plates. After his maiden win,
Dooie thought he had accomplished what was expected and never again graced the Winner's Circle.
Dooie is currently in Clayton, CA along with fosters Ymustichasethecat and Excessively Rich. As Craig no longer rides him we are looking for a home for this personable
gelding.
Dooie has been riding English for the past year or so, has learned to neck rein and prefers English. He has an awesome lope too.
He’s primarily only been trail riding and then is ridden Western. However, he is too big for the small, steep trails found in the Clayton area
and his owners do not have an arena to work him in. He had a short racing career with one win, has no track injuries and is in great health
with good feet. He’s very friendly and playful and loves people. He’s a TB so with his size must be kept in front shoes, no barefoot trims.
He is very powerful so expert riders only and he is not a jumper with his size.

Update - March 2010
It's off to the Police Academy for our Doolledo! Dooie will serve as a police horse at the Park Presidio in San Francisco.
For awhile Dooie has been telling us he needs a career and for this alpha 18hh gelding it seems a perfect fit. Although the Geibels adopted
Dooie they could not offer him the stimulation he needed and we found another situation for him. His racing buddies Cat,
Macho and Richie will miss him (but not at feeding time) and so will we. Congrats on your new career Dooie. A lot of horses were evaluated and you made the mark!
