Our Cagey Cat

Our Cagey Cat is a five year old dark bay gelding by Royal Cat.  Cagey's grandfather is the great Storm Cat.  Cagey Cat had 19 starts and won over 25K at the track.  His record stands at 3 wins, 1 place, 4 shows.  He needed a home and our new friend Andra needed to get in touch with horses again.  Although Andra went out to see another horse Neigh Savers has in rehab at Delta Breeze, Cat was the one for her.  As Andra herself writes:  "Being police officers, my husband and I have both become slightly jaded to the world around us.  I know that being around and riding horses has always calmed me and given me peace... but I now know that people do that too! They really are good and truly care....that is something I haven't seen or felt in a really long time.  So I guess I owe you.  If there is anything you need that you think I can help with please let me know."  Andra now volunteers a few hours a week and is involved in our rescue network.  Cat is a lucky guy indeed to have connected with his new caregiver.  Thank you for joining us Andra and making a difference in Cagey Cat's life!!
